Porto, Portugal. September 27th - 29st
We begin our trip with dinner together Saturday night at a great wine restaurant in Porto. If you aren’t too jet lagged, join Austin for drinks at a natural wine bar. Porto is vibrant with youth digital nomad culture.
But Sunday is a big day! We submerge ourselves entirely in Wow Porto, the massive wine cultural complex. A custom wine tasting at The Wine School to bring you up to speed on Portuguese wine culture. Visits to The Wine Museum, Planet Cork, Pink Palace and more… A lunch of Portugeuse specialities at one of the many restaurants. One - maybe two - tours and tastings with the biggest names in Port Wine. End the day along Vila Nova de Gaia. This beautiful restored waterfront has the been views of Porto and dozens of Port Tasting Rooms and places to dine.
Monday is your free day to explore Porto. Wander through the charming, narrow streets of the Ribeira district, admire the colorful buildings along the Douro River, and perhaps take a scenic boat tour under the city’s iconic bridges. You could visit Livraria Lello, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, eat your way through Bolhao Market, or many other options
The Douro Valley, Portugal. September 30th - October 1st
Journey in the heart of Port Wine Country on Tuesday and Wednesday. There is nowhere quite like the Douro Valley with the majestic beauty of some of the world’s steepest vineyards, terraced by hand in the 17th century, although wine has been made here since Roman times. The entire region is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit multiple wineries a day with lunch included. We will stay in either Pinhao, Regua, onsite with a winery.
Rias Baixas, Galicia, Spain. October 2nd - 5th.
Leaving land of rich reds and richer sweeter ports, we travel to the Galician Coast of Spain for some of the world’s freshest shellfish and spectacular Albarino of Riax Baixas. We spend the next 3 days in a small town on the coast. Our days are spent visiting amazing wineries of Rias Baixas and our nights are spent enjoying the cool ocean breeze and eating unparalleled seafood from casual restaurants.
The trip concludes with breakfast on October 5th and transfer to the Vigo Airport for anyone who wants it.

What makes these trips special?
Unique and intimate
Each trip is unique and it is built separately to take advantage of the opportunties presented to us. Limited to 12 people
The Access is the luxury
The access we receive is only available to people in the industry with strong relationships. Many of the places we will go aren't open to tourists.
Eat like the locals
We don't go for the elite luxury places, but focus on local restaurants, small family-owned places, and frequently lunch at the winery. These places are chosen with input from the wineries, because who knows their local food scene better than the wineries that have been in these communities for generations?
Is this right for you?
These tours aren't right for everyone. We travel with one “carry on” sized bag.
We travel as wine professionals, which includes spitting when appropriate as we taste dozens (hundreds?) of wines per day.
We will sometimes use public transport which requires European levels of fitness, endurance , and mobility.
There normally isn't time on the trip for traditional tourism or sightseeing.
