What makes these trips special?
Unique and intimate
Each trip is unique and it is built separately to take advantage of the opportunties presented to us. Limited to 12 people
The Access is the luxury
The access we receive is only available to people in the industry with strong relationships. Many of the places we will go aren't open to tourists.
Eat like the locals
We don't go for the elite luxury places, but focus on local restaurants, small family-owned places, and frequently lunch at the winery. These places are chosen with input from the wineries, because who knows their local food scene better than the wineries that have been in these communities for generations?
Is this right for you?
These tours aren't right for everyone. We travel with one “carry on” sized bag.
We travel as wine professionals, which includes spitting when appropriate as we taste dozens (hundreds?) of wines per day.
We will sometimes use public transport which requires European levels of fitness, endurance , and mobility.
There normally isn't time on the trip for traditional tourism or sightseeing.
